Audio file available on request.The quality and versatility of Phil’s trumpet playing was amply demonstrated during his six years as the lead trumpet and arranger with the popular brass quintet, Brass Razoo, extending his playing toward jazz and commercial styles of music.  In recent years, Phil has played for national productions such as Hello Dolly, West Side Story, Sweeney Todd, Phantom of the Opera, Secret Garden, and the Wizard of Oz.  Phil is working for Musica Viva with his group ‘Buzz’, a brass quartet, which tours schools throughout Queensland and conducts a number of school-based and community ensembles including Coorparoo Secondary College. In 2004, Phil acted as adjudicator for “Fanfare” and for the city of Toowoomba Eisteddfod.
