Jeff has several jazz albums to his credit, but in addition, he has recently released “Blues City”, an EPCD album that highlights five of his best original blues vocal compositions including Blues City and Waiting for a Train, which since their release have become underground favourites on the Brisbane blues scene. Jeff has worked with his own group Jeff Usher’s Jazz Unit and with Larry Cook and the Blues Masters with whom he recorded two albums. At present Jeff is recording a solo piano blues album and is a regular sideman with Warren Trout and the Red Hot Chicken-feathers and the Fabulous Electric Blue Chameleons. He has performed at Woodford Folk Festival and in 2005 headlined the Awakenings Festival in Horsham, Victoria.
