Pianist Damian Sim has been leading ensembles at some of Brisbane’s most noted jazz events and venues – including Brisbane International Jazz Festival, The Brisbane Festival, Valley Jazz Festival, & The Brisbane Jazz Club. As well as freelancing extensively as a jazz pianist, Damian has considerable experience performing in Latin/salsa and corporate/covers bands. Most recently, Damian has completed contracts on the world’s two largest cruise liners – Royal Caribbean International’s Oasis of the Seas (2010 with the Shannon Marshall Quartet) and Allure of the Seas (2011 with A Swingin’ Affair). In 2010, Damian was also a member of Warner Music recording artist Mark Sholtez’s national touring band.
