A member of the Queensland Youth Orchestra for almost nine years, Bryony Outteridge has been a member of the Australian Youth Orchestra, Youth Music Australia’s Young Concert Artists and New Music Now programs, and the Sydney Sinfonia. Bryony has also performed with the Canberra Symphony Orchestra and with the Canberra Community Orchestra. Bryony has been the recipient of several scholarships and awards including the Australia Council for the Arts ‘Skills and Arts Development Grant’ to undertake a Postgraduate Diploma and Licentiate at the Royal Academy of Music in London. Bryony is currently director of flute at Stuartholme School in Brisbane, casual member of The Queensland Orchestra, Vice-President of the Queensland Flute Guild and a freelance performer. Bryony regularly performs with harpists and guitarists and is available as a duo.
